Repair Review
To start, Shan’s Drum Shop (Bang On Custom & Vintage Drums) is quite impressive. The selection of high end vintage kits, to say the least is something you need to experience for yourself, you really should go there and have a peek. That said, I have a 1960 set of Coronet drums in marine pearl, faded to a yellow of course and the matching snare I just could not get to sound correct. This lead me to Shan and his vintage drum shop. He with his skills and ingenuity with drums, figured out this snares issues quickly and corrected it will a bit of brilliant rework and workmanship. I had given up on my snare trying to figure out it’s buzzing and ringing issues. Well this cheap snare now sounds like a million bucks. I could not be happier with the results he accomplished…..just goes to show you, take it to an expert! Thanks Shan for the service and knowledge, so appreciated! Greg Brooks
